Dennis O. Preston, 64, Austin, Texas, formerly of Brookville, died Monday. He was born April 6, 1947, the son of Sarah Preston of DuBois, and the late Ornan Preston. Survivors include a daughter, Alison Preston of Austin, Texas; a sister, Susan Delaney of DuBois; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Preston. He played linebacker and fullback on the Brookville high school football team, and was a member of the Gold All-State All-Academic team for scholastic excellence. He was also a member of the BAHS and American Legion baseball teams and the Brookville Ski Club. He worked as a lifeguard at the Brookville YMCA. Harry J. (Jack) Lewis, age 78 of Shippenville, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Clarion Hospital after a short illness from complications of MDS. Born February 20, 1933 in Clarion. He was the son of the late Leroy and Florence Renninger Lewis. Mr. Lewis was married September 2, 1955 in Arlington, Virginia to the former Donna Lee Davis, and she survives. Jack retired from O-I Glass plant in 1995 after 32 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a medic in the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post
