Patricia Darlene “Patty” Keltz

Patricia KeltzPatricia Darlene “Patty” Keltz went with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2016, surrounded by her loving daughters and many grandchildren.

Patty was formerly of West Fifth St. Oil City, and recently resided at Golden Living Center in Oil City.

In 1954 she met the man of her life and married to John W. Keltz of Oil City and he preceded her in death in Nov.2007.

Patty was a homemaker and worked at the Oil City Schools cafeteria many years ago which she enjoyed greatly.

Patricia was born in Latrobe, PA and went to Latrobe High School and still fondly held dear her “Latrobe Wildcats”, which she followed fervently over the years.

She was the daughter of Margaruitte Layton Repp and James G. Repp.

Together Patty and John enjoyed a beautiful family consisting of Colleen P. Karnish and spouse Casimir of Seneca, B. Christine Chrispen of Rouseville, Candace B. Schiffer and spouse Jason of Erie, Timothy Keltz and spouse Barb of Oil City, Randy Keltz and spouse Annette of Altoona and John W. Keltz III and spouse Rose of Vacaville, CA.

Grandsons: Ryan Andres and spouse Jamie of Conklin, NY, George Keltz of Rouseville, Jake Keltz of Altoona, Shane Keltz of Oil City and John Nail and spouse Kristy of Fryburg. Granddaughters: Hillary Krizon and spouse Casey of Polk, PA, Kayla Keltz of Rouseville, Laura Keltz and spouse John of Oil City, Gina Keltz and Tara Keltz of Vacaville, CA. Along with many nieces and nephews currently residing in Latrobe, PA.

She is survived by a sister, Bonnie Kutzer of Derry, PA and 15 Great Grandchildren and one on the way in June.

She was “proud” to be a Great Grandmother to all of her loving grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, Jean Dimotte, Joy Cramer and Judy Miller and brother Thomas Repp all of Latrobe, PA, a grandson Daniel Keltz and a son-in-law, Douglas Chrispen.

Patricia enjoyed her family and having “Family Deck” time at her daughters in Seneca, PA. She was an avid pet lover and an expert in “Munduology”, the art of her husband, John. She was an outstanding Mother, Wife and Mentor. Patty was a member of the Catholic Faith and was married in St. Joseph’s Church.

Friends may call at the Morrison funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday in St. Stephen Church.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Venango County Humane Society.
