UPDATE: Missing Parker Girl Home Safe

PARKER, Pa. (EYT) – Authorities say a 15-year-old Parker girl who went missing Monday night has been located.

State Police in Butler say Lexis Walker, of Parker, went missing from her home around 9 p.m. after she went into the woods to retrieve a horseshoe.

Authorities say the girl left a note at the house; however, they did not disclose the content of the note.

Sources say the girl packed a bag prior to leaving.

Lexis has since returned home safely, according to a family member.

Following her disappearance, the area surrounding the Locust Lane property was searched using a helicopter and a large search party.
