EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred last night on Interstate 80 eastbound in Richland Twp., Clarion County.
Police say the accident happened around 4:41 p.m., when a tractor-trailer traveling near mile marker 44.8 moved from the left lane into the right lane and collided with the right front of a 2006 Toyota Camry.
The Toyota Camry, operated by 22-year-old Yaakov Schutz, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, exited the roadway before coming to a rest against an embankment.
Police say the tractor-trailer continued traveling eastbound on Interstate 80.
Schutz and a passenger — 50-year-old Alexander Schutz, also of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, escaped injury in the crash.
Yaakov Schutz’s vehicle sustained moderate damage.
