Tionesta Man Pleads Guilty to Indecent Assault in Rape Case

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Tionesta man has pleaded guilty to indecent assault following an incident that occurred on November 12, 2015, on Amsler Lane, in Washington Twp., Clarion County.

Thirty-two-year-old Mark Daniel Deloe, of Tionesta, took a plea deal on May 20, and pleaded guilty to one count of Indecent Assault Forcible Compulsion, a first-degree misdemeanor. He faces up to five years in prison.

According to court documents, Marienville-based State Police arrested Deloe on November 12, 2015, on three felony charges that included Rape, Aggravated Indecent Assault, and Criminal Attempt-Aggravated Indecent Assault.

Deloe is awaiting sentencing.

Calls to the Clarion County District Attorney’s Office for comment were not immediately returned.
