State Police Calls: Harassment, DUI, Retail Thefts

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Clarion Township

PSP Clarion investigated an incident of harassment involving a known 19-year-old male and a known, 18-year-old female at a residence at Hillside Apartments in Clarion Township.

During a verbal argument, the known female pushed the victim causing him to fall backwards down a flight of stairs and into a wall.

The victim was taken to Clarion Hospital for an examination.

Charges of Harassment were filed on the accused at District Court 18-3-01.

The name of the suspect was not released.

No other information was provided.

DUI in Monroe Township

A DUI arrest was made on Interstate 80, at Exit 62, in Monroe Township.

Around 12:34 a.m. on May 29, PSP Clarion stopped a known, Lower Burrell, Pa., individual for a traffic violation. It was discovered that the individual was DUI.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Clarion Hospital.

Retail Thefts in Monroe Township

Three retail thefts occurred at Walmart in Monroe Township.

They happened at the following times and dates:

  • around 4:02 p.m. on May 17
  • around 1:14 p.m. on May 24
  • around 7:42 a.m. on May 27

In all three cases, police say the known actors took merchandise without paying.
