Clarion University Alumni Weekend Continues Today

CLARION, Pa. – Clarion University Alumni Association invites the community to join its annual Alumni Weekend. Multiple events are planned for all ages.

Is Paul McCartney really dead? Decide for yourself after Pfannestiel presents clues and evidence at the Beatles presentation at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Hart Chapel. The School of Education will sponsor Ice Cream with the Mascot from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Eagle Commons. Game night, including games, movies and conversation, runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Moore Hall. All events are free.

All are invited to the water tower lawn from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday for Alumni-Fest, featuring a full pig roast, live entertainment by Hit Play, outdoor activities and complimentary wine and brew selections featuring Clarion River Brewing Company. Cost is $25.00 for guests 21 and older, and $10.00 for guests younger than 21.

Lace up your running shoes for the Blue & Gold Color Run Sunday. Registration is at 8:00 a.m., and the run begins at 9:00 a.m. Get covered in blue and gold as you make your way through Clarion and the university campus. Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association Scholarship.
