Three Clarion Residents Injured in Two-Vehicle DUI-Related Crash on Route 219

SNYDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — DuBois-based State Police say around 11:11 a.m. on June 25, a DUI crash occurred on State Route 219, Brockport, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a 2014 Chrysler 300S was pulling out of the Brockport VFW and turning north onto Route 219 and pulled in front of a 1996 Chevrolet C1500 that was traveling south on Route 219.

The driver of the 2014 Chrysler — a known, 48-year-old Brockport woman — was transport to Penn Highlands DuBois for blood draw. The known woman suffered injuries of unknown severity.

She was using a seat belt.

The driver of the 1996 Chevrolet — a known, 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old female passenger, both of Clarion — were transported to UPMC Altoona for injuries of unknown severity.

Another passenger in the 1996 Chevrolet — a known, 17-year-old female, of Clarion — was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for injuries of unknown severity.

The driver of the Chevrolet and his passengers were not using seat belts.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.

PSP DuBois was assisted by Brockway Fire Department, Brockway Ambulance, DuSan Ambulance, Stat MedEvac, and Bailey’s Towing.

BAC results are pending.

The investigation continues.

The names of the occupants were not released.
