Drivers, Passengers Escape Injury in Two-Car Crash on Route 66

LIMESTONE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-car crash occurred on Route 66 in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 2:20 p.m. on June 29, 35-year-old Jeannie M. Clinger, of Clarion, was traveling north on Route 66 when she struck a 2008 Ford Escape driven by 69-year-old Bernadette H. Milliron, of Fairmount City, as Milliron was attempting to negotiate a left turn.

Clinger’s 2005 Chevrolet Uplander LS struck the rear of the other vehicle and left the right side of the roadway after impact, coming to a final rest in the ditch on the east side of the road.

Milliron’s vehicle came to a final rest in the parking lot located on the west side of the roadway.

All parties involved in the accident, including two passengers in Milliron’s vehicle, were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

Clinger was charged with a traffic violation.
