Police Seeking Information on Theft of More Than $6,000 in Construction Equipment in Forest County

BARNETT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say a theft occurred at a job site off State Route 899, in Barnett Township, Forest County.

According to police, sometime between 12:00 p.m. on June 16 and 5:30 a.m. on June 17, an unknown perpetrator(s) cut the lock to a utility trailer located at the above described location.

The following items were stolen:

  • Wacker Jumping Jack, Model BS50-4AS, valued at $3,500.00 (used for compacting dirt)
  • Wacker Jumping Jack, Model BS60-4S, valued at $2,700.00 (used for compacting dirt)
  • Multiple other items used for construction work
