EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred on Kerr Avenue, just north of Center Street, in Emlenton Borough, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 4:57 p.m. on July 11, 33-year-old Charles Alan McVay, of Franklin, was traveling north on Kerr Avenue in Emlenton Borough and lost control of his 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 while attempting to negotiate a slight right curve in the roadway. Then, the vehicle crossed the southbound lane, striking the western curb and traveling onto the sidewalk. The vehicle continued north on the sidewalk until striking a utility pole and then spun clockwise while striking a fence with its passenger’s side.
