Details Released on Hit and Run in Millcreek Township

MILLCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a hit and run accident occurred on Gravel Lick Road, in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.

Police say a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Gravel Lick Road when it exited the roadway off the east shoulder. After traveling a short distance, the vehicle struck a stone wall and continued traveling south, striking a stone culvert, a utility pole, and a PennDOT sign.

The vehicle came to a rest on the east side of Gravel Lick Road.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle — 56-year-old David Exley, of Strattanville — was charged with Careless Driving.

It is unknown whether Exley was injured.

Police say the incident occurred around 12:41 a.m. on July 6.

No other information was provided.
