SENECA, Pa. — The Cranberry Little League will play host to the Pennsylvania Little League Section 1 Minor League Tournament July 18-22.
The four-team tournament consists of the winners of Districts 1 (Meadville), District 3 (Harborcreek), District 10 (DuBois) and District 25 (Clarion) playing in a double-elimination tournament.
Action gets underway at 3 p.m. Monday with a first-round contest between DuBois and Meadville and will be followed by a 6 p.m. game between Clarion and Harborcreek.
All four teams will be back in action Tuesday with the loser’s playing in an elimination game at 3 p.m. and the winner’s playing in the winner’s bracket final at 6 p.m.
The loser’s bracket final between the winner of Tuesday’s loser’s bracket game and the loser of Tuesday’s winner bracket final will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday with the first championship game being at 6 p.m. Thursday. A winner-take-all title game, if necessary, will be at 6 p.m. Friday.
The winner of the Sectional will advance to the State Championships being held July 26-Aug. 1 in Bradford.
