REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – The week-long Clarion County Fair kicks off today at Redbank Valley Municipal Park near New Bethlehem.
The extravaganza continues through Saturday, July 30.
Today’s events include a car and motorcycle show, the 4-H horse and pony show, and a pet show.
Daily shows include the Rhinestone Roper, David Darwin’s One-Man Sideshow, both of which were featured on America’s Got Talent, and free laser tag by Red Dragon, each day July 25 to 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Wild About Dinosaurs national entertainment group each day, and the Jimmy Swogger and Friends show, which features ventriloquy.
A new event for this year — Dave Martin Bull Ride Mania — will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission to Sunday’s events is a donation to Relay for Life. There will be no rides that day.
Daily admission is $8.00 per person. Children under two are admitted free unless riding. Advance sale tickets are $6.00 person, on sale through Saturday, July 23, at various merchants throughout the county.
Also, there are special admission days. Monday is Military Appreciation Day, free admission for all attendees with a military card. Thursday is Special Needs Day with free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday is free admission for senior citizens until 3:00 p.m.
The park is located 1 1/2 miles north of New Bethlehem, just off Route 28.
