Man Injured in Knox Area DUI Crash

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to an alcohol-related crash July 24 on Interstate 80 in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. when a 24-year-old Ohio man lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a turn near mile marker 57.4.

The 2008 Honda Civic traveled off the south berm and struck an embankment.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

Further investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

DUI charges will be filed at District Court 18-3-03 in Knox pending final blood results.

Police did not release the driver’s name.
