State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, DUI, Theft

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Mischief in Millcreek Township

An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on August 7 on the 1700 block of Lakeview Drive, in Millcreek Township.

The incident occurred as an unknown perpetrator(s) damaged a 76-year-old Millcreek Township man’s mailbox and fled in an unknown direction.

DUI in Monroe Township

A DUI arrest was made around 12:34 a.m. on August 7 along State Route 68, in Monroe Township.

PSP Clarion was on daily patrol, and a 53-year-old Rimersburg woman was stopped for a traffic violation.

After further investigation, the suspect was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Charges will be filed pending final blood results in District Court 18-3-02.

The name of the suspect was not released.

Theft from Motor Vehicle in Monroe Township

A theft from a motor vehicle occurred sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on August 6, at exit 62 eastbound off-ramp of Interstate 80, in Monroe Township.

An Indianapolis, Indiana woman’s vehicle became disabled at the above described location.

The woman walked to a nearby store leaving her vehicle unlocked and a window open.

The perpetrator(s) removed two bags containing various items from the vehicle.

No other information was provided.
