PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A Jefferson County man died Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on the Rockton Mountain Highway.

Clearfield County Coroner Mike Morris pronounced 71-year-old William P. Craig, of Reynoldsville, dead at the scene.

Clearfield-based State Police say Craig’s Polaris Slingshot exited the roadway and traveled 241 feet before colliding with an embankment.

It then overturned once and caught fire, according to state police.
