Shippenville Woman Accused of Driving on Drugs with 6-year-old Child in Car

LIMESTONE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Shippenville woman is facing DUI and related charges after she was allegedly found to be driving with a 6-year-old child in the car while under the influence of drugs.

Clarion-based State Police say Amber J. Synder, 27, of Shippenville, was found to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance on July 29 around 10:17 p.m.

A 6-year-old male child was in the car when Snyder was pulled over on Route 66, according to state police.

Snyder faces DUI and child endangerment charges.

State Police say a second passenger in the car — Rhett A. Atwood, 27, of Kittanning — is facing drug possession and child endangerment charges.
