Police Respond to Two-Car Crash in Paint Township

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to a two-car crash that occurred on August 12, on Paint Boulevard, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 6:53 p.m. on August 12, 32-year-old Stacie L. Wolfel, of Johnsonburg, Pa., was traveling south on Route 66. Wolfel was attempting to make a left turn onto Route 322 when she was struck by a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 62-year-old Randal Brewer, of Darlington, Pa.

Police say Wolfel’s 2013 Toyota Corolla came to a final stop facing west on Route 322. Brewer’s vehicle came to a final rest facing north on Route 66.

Wolfel and a passenger — 53-year-old Cynthia Wolfel, of Wilcox, Pa. — were wearing seat belts. They were taken to Clarion Hospital where they were evaluated and released with no reported injuries.

Brewer and a passenger — 62-year-old Carol A. Brewer, of Darlington — were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

Stacie L. Wolfel was charged with a traffic violation.
