State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, Road Rage, Endangering Welfare of Children, Wiretap Violation, Burglary

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Mischief in Clarion Township

State Police say an incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on August 12, at a residence on Meadowbrook Court in Clarion Township.

An unknown perpetrator(s) damaged the door to a female victim’s residence.

Road Rage Incident in Beaver Township

According to State Police, around 9:00 p.m. on August 11, the Erie female victim was traveling east on Interstate 80 in Beaver Township.

She became involved in a “road rage type incident,” and an occupant in a tractor trailer threw an unknown object at her vehicle. This object cause minor damage to her vehicle.

The tractor trailer continued east.

No other information was provided.

Endangering Welfare of Children in Clarion Township

State Police are investigating an incident of endangering the welfare of children that occurred at a residence between May 20 and June 16 in Clarion Township.

Police say two known parents were not properly caring for their infant child. The child was taken into protective custody.

The investigation is ongoing.

Wiretap Violation in Clarion and Butler Counties

State Police are investigating a potential wiretap violation that occurred on February 27, in varying locations in Clarion and Butler Counties.

Police discovered that the 15-year-old Chicora female potentially recorded a phone conversation with the 22-year-old Clarion male without his knowledge or consent.

The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary in Knox Borough

According to State Police, a burglary incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on July 27, at Colwell Campground in Knox Borough.

Known perpetrator(s) broke into several campers and took items from multiple victims.

Charges were filed at Magisterial District Court 18-3-03.

The names of the suspects were not released.
