MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Rimersburg woman was jailed on felony retail theft and related charges following an alleged incident in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say 27-year-old Jessica L. Neely stole $19.76 worth of merchandise from Clarion Walmart on August 4 around 2:08 p.m.

Neely was arraigned at District Judge Timothy P. Schill’s office on the following charges:

Under Pennsylvania law, shoplifting becomes a Felony of the third degree when the offense is a third or subsequent offense, regardless of the value of the merchandise.

A preliminary hearing is set for August 23 before Judge Schill.

Neely remains lodged in the Clarion County Jail after failing to post $25,000 bail.
