Stolen Gun Recovered in Clarion Township

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are investigating a recent break-in in Clarion Township, Clarion County.

State Police say someone entered an unoccupied structure on Railroad Street between July 25 and August 4 and removed a Remington Model 600 6mm rifle.

During the course of the investigation, the rifle was recovered from an individual who purchased the gun without realizing it was stolen.

The investigation is ongoing.
