Norman L. Van Epps

Norman L. Van Epps, 79, of Pleasantville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening August 23, 2016, at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Norman was born on March 4, 1937, to the late Ira and Nellie Lupole Van Epps. He was married to the former Gloria Harkins.

Norman had been a truck driver for over 40 years for various trucking companies.

He enjoyed working in his yard, splitting wood and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of Pleasantville; four children, Charlotte McCrea and companion Brad Rumbaugh of Pleasantville, Ira Van Epps and wife Barb of Pleasantville, Norman H. Van Epps of Ohio, and Carol Brinks and husband Derrick of Saegertown; step-children, Vonnie Battko and husband Chris of Pittsfield and Michael Ernest of Greenville, IL; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby” Van Epps; a step-son, Charles “Willy” Ernest; and three brothers, Clair, Donald and Glenn Van Epps.

No public calling hours or service will be conducted.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
