State Police Calls: Theft, DUI, Criminal Mischief

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Credit Card Theft in Piney Township

State Police say a theft occurred sometime on August 12, in Piney Township.

The unknown perpetrator(s) attempted to use the male victim’s credit card.

Handgun Theft in Paint Township

According to State Police, sometime on August 12, a theft occurred in Paint Township.

A known perpetrator stole a handgun from the male victim’s residence.

The investigation is ongoing.

DUI in Limestone Township

State Police say a DUI incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. on August 19, along Route 66 in Limestone Township.

According to police, the 59-year-old male suspect, of Distant, Pa., was observed committing several traffic violations.

A traffic stop was conducted, and the suspect showed signs of impairment. He was subsequently arrested under suspicion of DUI.

Charges are pending BAC results.

DUI in Monroe Township

State Police say a DUI incident occurred around 3:01 a.m. on July 31, along West Trinity Drive, in Monroe Township.

The known juvenile driver was arrested under suspicion of DUI.

The known juvenile passenger was cited for an underage alcohol offense.

Criminal Mischief in Knox Borough

State Police say a criminal mischief incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on August 20, at a residence on East State Street, in Knox Borough.

An unknown individual cut the screen of the bedroom window at a residence at the above described location and fled the scene.

No other information was provided.
