Lefever Leaving CCEDC, Joins WRC Senior Services

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – Jamie Lefever, Executive Director of the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation, will be joining WRC Senior Services as Director of Donor Relations.

Lefever was selected as CCEDC Executive Director in December 2011, also serving on the CCEDC Board of Directors for six years prior to the appointment.

“I think my biggest accomplishment has been putting Clarion County on the face of the map through my efforts,” said Lefever to Explore Clarion. My efforts were always to increase the awareness of Clarion County and who we are.  The efforts included working with different attractions throughout the County, whether it was retail or manufacturing.  I promoted the entire County either through my involvement or living in the County my entire life.”

Lefever has agreed to continue working with CCEDC as a consultant and interim executive director until a new one is named.  She said the office will continue to operate and will not “miss a beat.”

Serving on WRC’s Pennsylvania Memorial Board in Brookville for the past year, Lefever will resign that position.

“I think I’ll be facing new challenges. It overlaps in a way with what I do now, but on the other hand, the challenge will be just understanding the assisted living business and I’m excited about that because it’s a growing industry,” said Lefever.

As Director of Donor Relations for WRC she will work with the Clarion, New Bethlehem, Brookville, and Ridgway areas.
