Robert J. ‘Bob’ Jolley

photo_041454_18533729_1_18533729_20160829.jpgxRobert J. ‘Bob’ Jolley, of Bethel Park, age 89, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016.

He was the son of the late James and Cora (Doutt) Jolley; beloved husband of 65 years to Betty (Cropp) Jolley; loving father of Craig Jolley, Dennis (Beth) Jolley, Robert (Sheri) Jolley, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Laura, Daniel, Nicole (Stephen) Goodson, Robert III and Emma; brother of the late Fred (surviving wife, Jerry) and Margaret Cratty (surviving husband, Vernon); also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bob was a Marine veteran of WWII and Korean War, a graduate from Grove City College.

Bob was a teacher and administrator in the Bethel Park School District for over 30-plus years and was a dedicated and loved employee at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel for 29 years. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Pirates and playing golf.

Family and friends will be received Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PAUL L. HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Burial will take place in Old Sandy Creek Cemetery, Polk, PA.

Donations in his memory may be made to John McMillan Presbyterian Church.
