State Route 322 Bridge Re-Opens in Elk Township

ELK TWP., Pa. – A Clarion County bridge that began construction in April has been completed in Elk Township.

The SR 322 bridge over Deer Creek (JV380) has reopened to traffic today. The work was performed by Walsh II, IA and Williams & Willman. The new bridge is designed to last as long as 100 years.

The SR 322 bridge replacement is part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, a Public-Private Partnership (P3) between PennDOT and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) under which PWKP will finance, design, replace and maintain for 25 years 558 bridges on state roadways. The P3 approach will allow PennDOT to replace the bridges more quickly while achieving significant savings and minimizing impact on motorists.
