Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer confirmed late Sunday afternoon that the body of the female juvenile was recovered.

Shevy went missing Friday after leaving her Fraternity Drive residence around 6:45 p.m. to go to the Dollar General Store on South 5th Avenue.

She was last seen in the area of Comet Warehouse and Dollar General, approximately 1/5 of a mile from her home.

Authorities say scrapes and bruises were found on her body, which could have been caused by being swept downstream.

Investigators have not yet said whether foul play is suspected.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.

No further information is being released at this time.
