CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Investigators say a 19-year-old man was arraigned today on charges related to an armed robbery at a Reinhard Villages apartment.

Online court documents indicate Clarion University Police filed criminal charges against 19-year-old Brian Joseph Fox, of North Versailles, Allegheny County, Pa.

According to a criminal complaint, police interviewed three known witnesses in regards to an armed robbery on September 10 at Reinhard Villages in Clarion.

The victims stated that around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, they were in a bedroom at the residence when “a white male named Brian Joseph Fox and an unknown black male forcefully entered the room. Fox displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at (the victims). Fox demanded they give him the Louis Vuitton bag stating, ‘I want everything,’ ‘Where’s the work?’ and ‘Where’s the bag?’ all while pointing the gun at the victims. Fox then began searching the room and found the bag. After locating it, Fox and the unknown black male exited the apartment,” according to the complaint.

Two victims exited the apartment immediately and allegedly witnessed Fox’s white Audi leaving the area. Later that day, the victims went to an area where they knew Fox parked his Audi and allegedly saw one of the victim’s Clarion lanyard/ID lying on the driver’s seat. The red bandanna Fox was wearing was partially exposed under the driver’s seat. One of the victims took pictures of the bandanna and license plate of the vehicle. The lanyard/ID was removed from the vehicle through an open door by the victims, the complaint states.

The Pennsylvania registration returned as being owned by Brian Joseph Fox and another known man of North Versailles.

The victims stated that they recognized Fox’s voice as being very distinctive — “very deep, and he speaks with slang, or as one of the victims described it as ‘ghetto,'” the complaint states.

A known victim also indicated that he recognized some facial features that he could see above the bandanna which was covering the lower part of Fox’s face. And, he recognized Fox’s eyes, the complaint indicates.

It is believed that the two suspects were also wearing dark colored hoodies and blue jeans.

The other male is unknown at this time.

It was later discovered that the following items were also stolen from the residence: $2,300.00 in U.S. currency; an Apple MacBook Pro; a backpack; a Clarion University Lanyard containing a student ID card; Subway card; and a key to a safe, according to the complaint.

Fox was arraigned Monday at District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office on two first-degree felony counts of Robbery-Threat Immediate Serious Injury.

Unable to post $250,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. on September 20, in front of Judge Quinn.
