Lauer, Olson Crowned Miss Teen and Miss Junior Teen ALF; Kalinowski Picks Up Three Awards

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Nine talented Clarion County teens competed for scholarship prizes and awards during the Miss Junior Teen and Miss Teen ALF competition last night at Clarion Area High School Auditorium.

Clarion Area High School senior Larissa Lauer, 17, was crowned Miss Teen ALF. Larissa is the daughter of Bev and DJ Lauer.

Fifteen-year-old Angela Olson, a freshman at Clarion-Limestone High School, was named Miss Junior Teen ALF. She is the daughter of Cherry Wolfe and Douglas Olson.

Also pictured above is fifteen-year-old Dorothy Kalinowski. Dorothy, a sophomore at Clarion Area High School, won an interview award and was named Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Michael Kalinowski.

Phases of competition included interview and essay, formal wear, Friday night fun wear, on-stage questions, and talent.

Complete results will be released at a later date.

The Miss Junior Teen and Miss Teen ALF competition is part of the 63rd Annual Autumn Leaf Festival sponsored by the United States Army.
