Marienville-based State Police say around 11:05 a.m., a 2014 Ford F-150 pickup — driven by 24-year-old Scott R. Nolan, of Portage, Pa. — was traveling south on State Route 36 and a 2007 Chrysler — driven by 24-year-old Cheyenne N. Snyder, of Tionesta, Pa. — was traveling north.

For unknown reasons, the Ford pickup drifted out of its lane of travel and into the northbound lane, and the vehicles collided, according to police.

After impact, the pickup rolled over and came to a rest on its wheels in both the north- and southbound lanes, facing east.

The Chrysler traveled a short distance off the east side of the roadway and came to a final rest on a private lane and the east berm, facing west.

According to police, Snyder succumbed to her injuries from the crash and died at the scene.

Nolan and two passengers in Snyder’s vehicle — 33-year-old Ronald S. Pacsai and a female infant, both of Tionesta, Pa. — were flown from the scene for injuries of unknown severity, police say.

Pine Creek Township and Sigel Fire Departments and Sigel Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.

The roadway remained closed as of 5:34 p.m.
