CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Four Local restaurants duked it out in the ExploreClarion.com “Battle of the Burgers” Final Four on September 22, 2016, at the Clarion Mall.
Vince’s Tavern of Leeper finished in 1st place, followed by The Outlook Inn of Rimersburg, Daddy’s Main Street of Clarion, and rbg Bar & Grill, also of Clarion.
Brice Bader, co-owner of Vince’s Tavern, said “flavor and texture” were the key components of the winning burger — “The Meximus Prime.”
The show, hosted by Dustin “Crowbar” Kifer, featured four taste-testers who rated each burger on a 1-10 scale.
The taste-testers were Beau Schettler, of Knox; Anthony Ochs, of Lucinda; Kim Nichols, of Clarion; and Shane Tharan of Leeper.
