Terry L. Rhome

Terry L. Rhome, 60, of Franklin passed away at 9:37 am Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, due to complications from a motor scooter accident on Georgetown Road on September 2nd, 2016.

He was born March 13th, 1956, in Monongahela, Washington County, to Marion A. and Elva Mae Adams Rhome.

He graduated in 1975 from Lakeview High School.

Terry had worked at Polk Center as an RSA and then worked at Quality Farm and Fleet of Franklin until he became disabled in 1998.

He was a Jehovah’s Witness with the Franklin congregation.

Terry had talent as an artist and loved to draw. He also enjoyed collecting coins and gemstones over the years. His talent had no boundaries and he was an incredible father to his five children and was a very great and funny brother to his siblings.

His wife, the former Julie A. Tidd, whom he married December 13th, 1975, survives in Franklin.

Also surviving are twin daughters: Kyla Zischkau and her husband, Tevin, of Franklin and Bethany Rhome of North Hollywood, California; and two sons: Izaac Rhome and Jacob Rhome, both Franklin; five grandchildren: Ainsley, Hayden, Sebastian, Caidence and Trey; and a great-granddaughter Arabella.

He is also survived by two sisters: Carolyn Collinsworth and her husband, William, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rita Reib of Fort Collins, Colorado; and two brothers: Richard Rhome and his wife, Deborah, of Franklin and Michael Rhome of Sandy Lake.

In addition to his parents, a daughter, Clover A. Rhome, and a brother, Robert Rhome, preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made on behalf of the family to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm Monday, October 10th, at Franklin Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1410 Pittsburgh Road, Franklin.

Arrangements are entrusted to Scott A. Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.
