CLARION, Pa. – Northwest Bank, Children and Youth Services and Community Action will launch Operation Overcoat on Monday, September 26.

With public support, the sponsors will work together to collect, clean, and distribute warm winter coats to local children in need.

Residents of Clarion County are asked to participate in the program by donating warm, new or gently-used fall and winter coats in all children’s sizes.

“We’ve been participating in Operation Overcoat for many years,” notes Ty Poster, manager at the New Bethlehem office of Northwest. “It’s great to see our community come together and give back to area children in need.”

Coats may be deposited in marked containers at any of the following Northwest Bank locations: 301 Broad Street in New Bethlehem, 730 Main Street in Clarion or 629 Main Street in Rimersburg.

They will then be distributed by Children and Youth Community Action. The program will run through November 21.

For more information, contact Ty Poster at 814-275-3421.
