Roberta “Bert” J. Hollabaugh

Roberta “Bert” J. Hollabaugh, age 61 of Buttermilk Hill Rd, Franklin, passed away on September 28, 2016, at home.

Bert was born on May 5, 1955, in Ridgeway to the late Malcolm Earl and Josephine Papale Amacher White. She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and attended Clarion University.

She worked at Shop n Save in Franklin for over 20 years as a meat wrapper. Bert married her husband, Donald A. Hollabaugh Sr., on August 18, 1989, he survives.

Bert was an avid golfer and loved to play pool. She loved swimming in her pool and did so nearly every day during the summer. She also loved her pets dearly and loved all animals.

In addition to her husband, Bert is survived by her son, Donald A. Hollabaugh Jr. and his wife Amy of Meadville, four grandchildren, Trent, Tegun, Tiahna, and Talaya, all of Meadville, a brother Christopher Amacher and his wife Margaret of Waterford and a sister Stephanie O’Connell and her husband Frank of Ridgeway

In addition to her parents, Bert was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Amacher.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W. Park St., Franklin, where family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 30, and from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, with the Reverend Cliff Forbes, pastor of New Beginnings Church of God in Meadville, officiating.

Interment will follow in Peters Cemetery
