Oil City YMCA Announces Turkey Trot 5k

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Oil City YMCA will host their annual Turkey Trot 5k on Saturday, November 19th.

Participants can run or walk. The race course begins at the Oil City end of the Samuel Justus Bike Trail. All participants will run/walk 1.5 miles toward Franklin and turn to finish at the original start line.

The race will begin at 9:00 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in each category.

Participants that register by November 5th will pay $20.00. Those registering after November 5 will pay $25.00. All runners will receive long-sleeve race t-shirts. Registration will also be held at 8:00 a.m. the morning of the race.

The Clarion County YMCA hours are: Weekdays 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
