California Fugitive Nabbed 2400 Miles from Home in Clarion County

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Clarion-based State Police, a 39-year-old man was arrested in Beaver Township on October 4, after it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant in the state of California.

Police say around 2:03 p.m. on October 4, Damian Rowe, 39, of Palmdale, Calif., was stopped for a Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program inspection and was found to have an active extraditable assault warrant out of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

Rowe was arraigned by Judge Duane L. Quinn and placed in the Clarion County Jail on $50,000.00 bond to await extradition back to California.
