Cheryl Ann Baker, 62, 6130 Wise Road, passed away at her residence, on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at 8:20 p.m., after a four-month illness.

She was born in Erie, Pa. on Sept. 1, 1954, to Joseph Paden and Mina Scriben Paden White. Her father died at a young age and she was raised by her dad, John White.

Cheryl married Kenneth Baker on May 27, 2011.

She worked for Integra Bank for 18 years and then retired from Polk Center after 22 years as a therapeutic activities aid.

Mrs. Baker attended the New Life Baptist Church in New Wilmington, Pa.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, at the residence; and one daughter, Bridgette, wife of Jason Hill of Cooperstown, Pa. She is also survived by five stepchildren, Patricia, Kenneth, Brian, Paul and Matthew Baker; as well as four grandchildren; and 12 stepgrandchildren.

Cheryl is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Hubert of Franklin, Pa. and Jean, wife of George Gantt of Alabama; and three brothers Tim Paden of Franklin, John Paden and his wife, Jan, of Cochranton, Pa. and Frank Paden of French Town, Pa.

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; and one brother, Joseph Paden.

Funeral service will be held at the Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., 144 S. Pitt St. in Mercer, Pa. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Pastor Greg Marshall of the New Life Baptist Church will be officiating.

Burial will be at Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage.
