Fans can catch all the action starting with the Kerle Tire Pregame Show at 6:30 p.m. with Bob “The Governor” Dunkle and Mike Kalinowski on the call. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
Fans can listen to the game live on exploreClarion.com as well as with the ExploreRadio/ExploreClarion app (fans should click on the ExploreClarion feed on the app for the game). Fans who don’t already have the app can download it for both Apple and Android.
Redbank Valley enters the contest at 3-2, as the Bulldogs have shaken off a 1-2 start to win their last two games including a 14-0 shutout of Union/A-C Valley last Thursday.
Cousins Colton and Curtis Mohney are key players for Redbank Valley, as is sophomore quarterback Keaton Kahle, who is a dual-threat with a strong arm and quick feet. Clint Thurston adds a powerful back to the offense and is a strong placekicker and punter for Redbank Valley as well.
After a 31-6 win at Moniteau last Friday, Clarion is 5-0 and would love nothing more than to be a perfect 6-0 heading into a game at Karns City next week.
The Bobcats are led by a strong ground game that includes Colton Rapp and Mike McCloskey and a stronger-than-expected passing game paced by junior quarterback Spencer Miller and senior wide receiver Ty Burford. Defensively, the Bobcats have given up just 28 points on the year.
Last year, Redbank Valley beat Clarion for the first time since 2008. The Bulldogs haven’t won two straight over Clarion since winning three in a row from 2006 to 2008.
