Shirley Eisenman

Scan0002Shirley Eisenman, 79, passed away at her home in Tionesta, Pennsylvania, on Fri., Oct. 7, 2016.

Shirley was born in Lickingville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Farmington High School before attending Continental School of Beauty Culture, in Bradford, Pennsylvania. While in Bradford, she worked at Zippo Manufacturing and Corning Glass Works and operated a beauty shop for a short time.

Shirley was a homemaker for more than 30 years. In recent years, she took a part-time job at Touch of Nature in Tionesta where she enjoyed arranging flowers. Other pastimes included photography, gardening and spending time in nature. She attended the Good Shepherd Church in Tionesta and was a past member of the Dorcas Circle at Good Shepherd Church and a Tionesta Red Hat group.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 54 years, Peter Eisenman; son and daughter-in-law Eric and Theresa Eisenman, of Charles Town, West Virginia; granddaughter Ava Eisenman; brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Joy Morrison, of Tionesta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Merle “Pete” and Doris Morrison, son Andrew Eisenman and brother Wayne Morrison.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc., in Fryburg on Mon., Oct. 10, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Faller Funeral Home, Inc., in Fryburg, on Tues., Oct. 11, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jonathan Bell Pastor of Good Shepherd Church in Tionesta officiating.

Interment will be in the Heckathorn Cemetery.

Memorials in Shirley’s honor may be made to Venango County VNA Foundation.
