Three Women Face Assault Charges After Allegedly Punching, Knocking Out Victim in Clarion Borough

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Three women are facing assault and related charges after allegedly punching a female victim at a bar in the Borough of Clarion.

According to court documents, the Clarion Borough Police filed criminal charges against the following individuals:

Kelsey Nicole Troup, 21, of Monongahela, Pa.
Alexandra R. Indof, 22, of Monongahela, Pa.
Denisse Santana, 21, of Reading, Pa.

According to a criminal complaint, around 11:45 p.m. on September 29, Officer Wright, of the Clarion Borough Police Department, received a dispatch from Clarion Office of Emergency Service (OES) to respond to a known bar for a reported fight.

The complaint states that when Officer Wright arrived on the scene, he observed (a known female) bleeding from her mouth. She had a cut and bruising on her left eye. (The victim) advised Officer Wright that two of the females who had done this were walking east on Main Street. Officer Wright stopped them at the intersection of Main Street and 6th Avenue.

Officer Wright spoke with Kelsey Nicole Troup who allegedly admitted to punching (the victim). Troup stated that (the victim) had pulled her hair inside the bar, and that is why she fought with her. Troup alleged advised that Alexandra Rae Indof and Denisse Santana had also punched (the victim). Troup was placed into the rear of the patrol vehicle and (the victim) and witnesses were interviewed, according to the complaint.

Three witnesses stated that Troup punched (the victim) in the face, knocking her out. When (the victim) came to, she left the bar and went out on the sidewalk. Troup again came over to (the victim), punched her in the face, and knocked her out. The witnesses stated that Indof and Santana each threw a punch at (the victim) before she was knocked out, the complaint continues.

(The victim) became sick and advised that her head was hurting. Clarion Hospital Station 1 was dispatched and transported (the victim) to the Clarion Hospital Emergency Room, the complaint states.

Troup was transported to her residence on South 7th Avenue in Clarion Borough. Officer Wright advised her that she would be receiving charges in the mail.

(The victim) provided Officer Wright with documentation from the Clarion Hospital and asked that restitution be sought for all hospital billing, the complaint indicates.

(The victim’s) injuries were photographed and taken to the Clarion Borough Police Department, according to the complaint.

Criminal complaints were filed on October 5 against Troup, Indof, and Santana in Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office.

The three suspects face the following charges:

  • Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
  • Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
  • Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Summary
  • Public Drunkenness And Similar Misconduct, Summary

Preliminary arraignments are scheduled for October 24 in front of Judge Quinn.
