CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A 14-year old boy was hit by a car while walking Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:20 p.m. at the corner of 5th Avenue and Liberty Street.
A police report was not available at press time, but the boy reportedly has a broken rib, ten stitches in his head, and is now resting at home. One person close to the situation said that he has some healing to do, but he will be okay.
The injured student was a member of the Clarion Area Junior High football team and the game scheduled later in the day was canceled.
