Penn State’s Game at Purdue Oct. 29 to Kickoff at Noon

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Oct. 29 game at Purdue will kickoff at noon and be aired on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

It will be the Nittany Lions first trek to West Lafayette, Ind., since 2012.

Penn State leads the all-time series with Purdue, 13-3-1, including a 6-2 mark in Ross-Ade Stadium. The Nittany Lions meet the Boilermakers for the first time since 2013 when Penn State claimed a 45-21 win in Beaver Stadium. Zach Zwinak paced the Penn State offense with 149 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Christian Hackenberg was 16-for-23 for 212 yards and a touchdown, while Allen Robinson was on the receiving end of eight passes for 98 yards. The Penn State defense forced three turnovers with Mike Hull and Austin Johnson each recovering fumbles and Jordan Lucas grabbing an interception.

In addition to airing on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, the game will also be available on the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.

Penn State is coming off of a 38-14 win over Maryland on Homecoming Oct. 8. Nittany Lion sophomore running back Saquon Barkley earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week accolades after rushing for 202 yards and a touchdown, while junior linebacker Brandon Smith was selected as the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week thanks to 14 tackles and an interception against the Terps.

After a bye week, the Nittany Lions are back in action with a primetime clash with #2/2 Ohio State in Beaver Stadium for the Penn State White Out Saturday at 8 p.m. The game will air live on ABC.
