Mary Elizabeth McNellie, 84, of 775 Old Petroleum Center Rd, Titusville, died at 8:51 am Friday, October 21, 2016 at her residence.

Born November 11, 1931 in Reidsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Helen Over Neely.

Mary was an inspector at the former Oil City Glass Plant from where she retired.

She loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed gardening and canning, playing cards and watching hummingbirds.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph Church in Oil City.

On December 30, 1960, she married Donald McNellie, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son Philip McNellie and his wife Kim of Titusville, five grandchildren Chad McNellie and wife Jessica of Wilmington, NC, Jason McNellie, Katie McNellie and Dan Dawes all of Oil City, Kayla Hagan and Tara Hagan, both of Lucinda; great grandchildren, Laney McNellie, Troy McNellie, Ian Hagan, Zoe Hagan, Dominick Dawes, Dolcie Dawes, Dane Dawes.

Mary was the last surviving member of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Hagan, two great granddaughters, Ella McNellie and Emma Jayne Hagan, a sister, Ruth Davis, a brother Harold Neely and twin siblings Ruby Neely and Richard Neely.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm Monday in St. Joseph Church with Rev. Justin Pino, officiating.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
