Janet Louise Brosius, 70 of Kearneysville, and formerly of Marienville, Pennsylvania, went home to be with Jesus on October 19, 2016.

Born May 16, 1946 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Grace Coulter of McVeytown, Pennsylvania.

She was a graduate of Captain Jack High School in Mt. Union Pennsylvania and God’s Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Janet worked as an office manager at Mumaw & Vickers CPA’S in Charles Town, and loved her job and clientele.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and spent her whole life serving Jesus. She was a pastor’s wife and taught as a Christian School and Sunday School teacher. Janet was attending Fellowship Church of the Brethren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Ray Brosius, Jr.; her children: Sharon Ocker and husband, Steven of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Kathy Brosius of Kearneysville, and Ray Brosius, III and wife, America of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; five granddaughters who were her pride and joy: Savannah, Sydney, and Sierra Brosius and Ashley and Amy Ocker; her siblings: Carol Lee and husband, Richard of Noblesville, Indiana, Duane Coulter and wife, Brenda of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, and Miriam Fetzer and husband, Joe of Mt. Union, Pennsylvania; special family friend, Tom McKenzie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 5-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 2pm with visitation one hour prior at Fellowship Church of the Brethren. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
