Fans can catch all the action starting with the Kerle Tire Pregame Show at 6:30 p.m. with Mike Kalinowski and “The Governor” Bob Dunkle on the call. Kickoff from C-L High School in Strattanville is set for 7 p.m.
Fans can listen to the game live on exploreClarion.com as well as with the ExploreRadio/ExploreClarion app (fans should click on the ExploreClarion feed on the app for the game). Fans who don’t already have the app can download it for both Apple and Android.
The Lions (7-2), the winners of the KSAC Small School Division, enter the game as the second seed in the District 9 1A field and are in the postseason for the first time since 2005. The dynamic duo of running back Mike Macefe and quarterback Brendan Makray lead a high-powered C-L offense.
Otto-Eldred (5-5) is making its first-ever appearance in the District 9 postseason. The Terrors won the AML North title, their first outright division/conference title since 1975, going a perfect 5-0 in division play before losing a tight battle to Kane in the AML Title Game last week.
The Drummond brothers — quarterback Sawyer and running back Seth — are two key players for Otto, which has a co-op with Oswayo Valley. Gage Babcock and Grant West are two additional players to keep an eye on.
Following the game, tune into the final edition of the 2016 Advanced Disposal ExploreRadio Overtime Show, which can be heard on D9Sports.com and the ExploreRadio app (ExploreRadio channel) as well as 103.3 FM in Brookville and 104.1 FM in Punxsutawney.
