Forest Area Students Stand Up Against Bullying

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) – Students in the Forest Area School District participated in a day of Unity on Monday, October 31.

Everyone was encouraged to wear orange and Knock-Out Bullying.

Each student, teacher, and staff member answered two questions:

– What do you do to make our school a safer place?
– What quality makes you proud to be who you are as an individual?

The answers to these questions were written on strips of paper that were used to build a paper chain. The chains were built to symbolize that we are all interconnected and that each person in our buildings must be willing to stand up against bullying.
