SIGEL, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police are investigating an attempted burglary that took place earlier this week in the Sigel area.

Troopers were dispatched to 6656 Route 36 in Sigel, Jefferson County, on November 7 for a report of an attempted burglary.

Investigators say someone attempted to gain access to the female victim’s garage between 11 p.m. on November 6 and 6 a.m. on November 7.

The perpetrator(s) damaged the garage while attempting to gain access.
