CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – It’s a special Thursday playoff edition of the Explore Radio RRR Roadhouse KSAC Football Game of the Week when Karns City takes on Perry Traditional Academy out of the Pittsburgh City League in the District 8-9 Class 3A title game at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium.

Fans can catch all the action starting with the Kerle Tire Pregame Show at 6:30 p.m. with Mike Kalinowski and “The Governor” Bob Dunkle on the call. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The top-seeded Gremlins (8-2) were off last week while the third-seeded Commodores beat second-seeded St. Marys, 38-27.
Karns City hopes to have KSAC Large School Defensive MVP Chandler Turner back for this game. Turner missed the Gremlins last game, a 35-28 loss at Clearfield two weeks ago with an injury. Turner is also a key runner for KC along with Kaiden Powers and Cullen Williams. Quarterback Jacob King is also having a strong season.
Perry (4-6) and has won 2 of 3 since a 3-game losing streak. Quarterback Doug Johnson had a big game last week in the win over St. Marys accounting for 249 of Perry’s 350 yards of offense including 207 passing with a touchdown and 42 rushing. James Goodwine also scored twice as did Rasaun Taylor, who had six catches for 136 yards and a touchdown.
