CLARION, Pa. — Nineteen Clarion County YMCA swimmers made quite a splash at the 6th Annual Shark Tank Invitational at Clearfield YMCA on Saturday, November 15.
This pre-season meet has been a staple meet for new and returning Riversharks swimmers over the last three years. Clarion swimmers held their own in the competition, swimming away with over 30 top finishes.
The Clearfield YMCA hosted the meet and provided hotbed of competition for hundreds of swimmers. Also competing in the meet were Ridgway, Clearfield, State College, Juniata Valley, Brookville, East Lycoming and Bellefonte YMCAs.
The following swimmers were able to claim first, second or third place finishes in their events:

Qualifying for the Pennsylvania Western District meet were: Parker Boyden, Alayna Murray, Brayden Murray, and Patrick Young. These swimmers have earned a spot in the most prestigious meet of the season, held at Penn State’s McCoy Natatorium in March.
The Clarion County YMCA Riversharks will be back in action on Saturday, November 26, at the 48th Annual Oil City YMCA Invitational at Oil City High School.
